Jasmine Hatcher-Lamarre, Assistant Scientist, Isotope Production Department

Jasmine Hatcher-Lamarre is PhD Chemist working on the production of radioactive isotopes to meet the medical and industrial needs of the nation. She is currently working on a project to use Artificial Intelligence/ Machine learning  and automation to streamline the production and chemical separation of radionuclides. She was first introduced to BNL by a professor who had an ongoing collaboration at the lab. Through this professor and the office of educational programs, Jasmine went on to participate in several summer undergraduate internships at BNL.  After earning her bachelor's degree, she attended graduate school at the City University of New York. After defending her thesis, Jasmine joined the Medical Isotope research and production group as a postdoc. Jasmine is now a staff scientist in the Isotope Production department.
