The American Mathematical Society (AMS) is the newest partner of Inclusive Graduate Education Network (IGEN). The AMS will collaborate within the mathematical sciences community to develop a framework to promote equity, diversity and inclusion in graduate education and in post graduate research opportunities in the mathematical sciences.
Founded in 1888, the AMS is dedicated to advancing the interests of mathematical research and scholarship and connecting the diverse global mathematics community. The AMS has nearly 30,000 individual members worldwide and supports mathematical scientists at every career stage.
