Catalyzing Ecosystems of Inclusive Excellence
Leveraging the Science of Mentorship, Evidence-Based Interventions, National Conversations, and Local Expertise
High quality research mentorship has an important role to play in promoting cultures of inclusive excellence in academia, industry, and government laboratories. Research mentoring occurs within a larger ecosystem of interactions, institutional policies and practices, and historical and cultural trends. In this talk, Dr. Melissa McDaniels outlines research, evidence-based practices, national policy conversations and local resources that can be leveraged to strengthen an organization’s ability to promote the success of a diverse community of researchers and scholars.
