Building Successful Bridge Programs

This workshop will focus on key components for building a successful bridge-to-PhD program, and for supporting physical science graduate students. Topics will include effective practices for structuring a program for success, as well as key retention practices, including mentoring, progress monitoring, and leveraging student support systems. A variety of perspectives and resources will be shared by experienced APS Bridge Program Site Leaders and Staff. The workshop format will be a mix of brief presentations followed by an audience Q/A.
