Brián Bordon is the Program Manager for the Bridge Program at the American Physical Society (APS) in College Park, Maryland. She has been an integral contributor to the program since 2016 and has worked to expand its success.

Prior to coming to APS, Bordon worked in various capacities where her communications background and ability to create organizational structure were honed. She completed her BA in Communications at the University of Maryland Global Campus, previously known as University of Maryland University College. She is committed to the vision and mission of IGEN and the APS Bridge Program and hopes to continue to affect change wherever she can.

The American Physical Society (APS) is a founding society partner of IGEN. Since 2012, its APS Bridge Program partners have helped to close the gap in participation of Black, Latinx and Indigenous participation in physics graduate studies.
