Practicing Equity in Graduate Admissions
There is a strong research and legal basis for increasing diversity and reducing inequities in graduate education through admissions. Participants in this mostly lecture-based session will:
- Appreciate the legal landscape for discussing race in admissions
- Learn how common admissions mindsets & practices inhibit access for underrepresented groups
- Understand how equity-minded holistic review may enable more equitable outcomes.
