David Harwell, IGEN Backbone Consultant, is a former chemistry professor at the University of Hawaii, Manoa. He currently serves as the Chief Scientist and CEO of Consulting Science, LLC. In-between, David worked for 18 years in executive management roles within two of the largest professional scientific associations in the world: the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the American Geophysical Union (AGU). David holds an Executive MBA as well as a Ph.D. in chemistry.
